ABOUT CHRISTINE
EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Christine graduated UC Berkeley in 1984, with a Master’s Degree in Social Work, and became licensed in California in 1987. She is a diplomat of the Academy of Cognitive Therapy, and certified by them as an expert Cognitive and Behavioral Therapist. Christine has been certified by the Behavioral Therapy Training Institute to treat OCD. She also has completed intensive training in Mindfulness-based Mind Fitness - a trauma-sensitive approach to training organizations in stress resilience and performance enhancement, as well as in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, and Mindful Self Compassion
CLINICAL EXPERIENCE
Christine has held senior positions in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric mental health clinics, hospitals, schools, and employee assistance programs.
Her practice includes on-going training in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectic behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness based Cognitive Therapy (MCBT), mindfulness meditation, stress reduction methodologies, and the neuropsychology of emotions. Christine brings this full circle through an on-going committement to supervising interns, medical residents, consulting, and teaching. Christine continues to study and practice mindfulness meditation.
PSYCHOTHERAPY AND CONSULTING PRACTICE
Christine offers individual and couple’s therapy to adults, adolescents, and consultation and mentoring to professionals. She has extensive working knowledge of psychiatric medications and dedication to collaborating with prescribing psychiatrists.
TRAINING AND TEACHING FOR ORGANIZATIONS
Christine trains groups and organizations, from small groups of parents, healthcare providers or teachers to large businesses, in cutting-edge, science based resilience and performance techniques. In solo training, and through her affiliation with Avenir Coaching, she is available to support groups in brain-body health and wellbeing.
Christine also teaches Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to mental health clinicians in an effort to disseminate evidence-based services to more clients, who all deserve the best practices in their treatment.

Ms Frazita is an active member of the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapy, the International Association of Cognitive Therapy, the Academy of Cognitive Therapy, the National Association of Social Workers, the International OCD Foundation and The Association for Contextual Behavioral Sciences.
